Hello dearest readers, I believe you are great by God’s grace. We invite you, dear Holy Spirit, to speak to us as we read your word in today’s post. AMEN. The Holy Spirit wants to speak to us today about faith to act based on his word. Many of us are aware of the recent happenings in Nigeria, Africa, and across the world and the question asked is- what is God saying amidst this chaos?. God is telling us to go back to his word and act on all that he has said. These are not ordinary times where we just complain and speak empty words. It is time to exert our faith in what God has spoken through personal encounters, the bible, men/women of God, and the Body of Christ. Remind yourself of God’s promises because sometimes the situations we are faced with could cause us to forget what he has said. Let’s explore what the bible says.

The story of Blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10 v 46–52 is a story we can learn from. v46Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” (NIV). Blind Bartimaeus has lost his sight and so could not see Jesus but he heard that Jesus was around. Immediately he acted on what he heard and cried out to Jesus. Take note, the people around him tried to stop him (i.e he was surrounded by faithless people) but that did not stop his faith. I pray that we will act on our faith which eliminates every doubt pushed to us by our flesh, circumstances, or negative thoughts.

Dear friends, there may be certain things trying to stop you. It may be the people around you or even circumstances that limit the power of God. Don’t doubt the word of God, go back to his word, remind yourself of his word, and derive strength from what God has said. God is not a liar and whatever he says he will fulfill (Num 23 v 19). Personally, the past two months have been very occupying with academics and so much more but the Holy Spirit reminded me of the power of God through his word. Let’s read Numbers 23 v 19: God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (NIV).

Dear friends, you are on the winning side by serving God. It is a privilege to serve the King of Kings!!! Don’t be weighed down by worries. He has got you! I may not know the situation you are in right now but I know that a God exists who knows about you. As long as you believe in him, he will deliver, restore, provide, make a way for you. AMEN. Act on your faith in the word of God. When it seems like your faith is being weakened run to God for refilling. Cars run out of fuel, it is okay when you notice that your faith is not enough for your current situation. RUN back to God to refill you!. Spend time with him, be real before God. Don’t pretend, tell him about your girlfriend, boyfriend, academics, work, bosses, school, country e.g for me it is (Nigeria), and let God fix you. You cannot fix yourself but your faith in God will allow him to act and move in your life to his glory. Lack of faith limits God. Dear friends, never forget that God is real. He exists. He is working miracles. He created you so he knows and cares about you. Act on your faith!

Thank you so much for reading. God bless you so much. Kindly listen to this song by Chandler Moore Man of your word- https://youtu.be/hTipo9tXtDc

Have a blessed week and I pray that God will give us the grace to act on our faith through his word. AMEN.
